Top 3 matchup in Tuscaloosa

This weekend, Georgia football welcomes a Saturday night primetime matchup on CBS. We’ll also have our friends from ESPN College GameDay in town and they’ll be broadcasting their weekly pregame show live. As many of you have probably already seen, like many other things, the GameDay set looks very different this year with no fans. However, we recommend that you join the virtual box from home.

As a reminder to those of you who have tickets, please visit our New In 2020 page to familiarize yourself with the changes to the gaming experience this season, including mobile ticketing and parking, self-assessment related to COVID-19 and more personal Protective equipment, gate number changes and concession operations.

Alexa Guarachi reached the Grand Slam final and finished second at the French Open

We were so excited to follow tennis alum Alexa Guarachi last week, who together with her doubles partner Desirae Krawczyk made it to the final of the French Open, beating the world’s number 1 doubles team on the way. Alexa and Desirae fell just short of the defending French Open champions in a fantastic run at the legendary Roland Garros Stadium in Paris. Alexa is already two-time WTA double champion and has a bright future ahead of her.

Men’s Golf Wins Blessing Collegiate Invitational

First tournament, first championship of the season for our men’s golf team, which recently won the 2020 Blessings Collegiate Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Four of our golfers, including Wilson Furr, Tyler Lipscomb, Thomas Ponder, and Davis Shore, had top 20 singles finishes that helped Tide earn its first direct season opening title since the 2013-14 season.

Trey Mullinax receives the highest award in the Orange County National Championship

Lots of celebratory milkshakes for men’s golf coach Jay Seawell this week, a tradition of his when former tide golfer Trey Mullinax won the Orange County National Championship. He banged holes 16 and 18 to win in one fell swoop on the Panther Lake course in Winter Garden, Florida.

Tennis teams have the fall season underway

Both our men’s and women’s tennis teams have started their fall season in the past two weeks. The men opened on the first weekend of October at the Tiger Fall Invitational in Auburn, Alabama, and were led by Ricardo Roberto, who went three-on-three in his singles games. The women hosted SEC Challenge # 1 here on campus last weekend and were led by newcomer Anne Marie Hiser and second Isabella Harvison, who both took two singles to kick off the 2020-21 season.

The volleyball season starts on October 21st

We’re excited to have one of our teams back soon when volleyball kicks off next week against Missouri in two consecutive games on Wednesday October 21st and Thursday October 22nd. As a reminder: Fan participation in home games at Das Foster Auditorium is limited to coaches and players only. In attendance program guests must be seated in previously identified, socially distant seats, and face covers are required unless they are eating or drinking.

School Supply Drive for Alberta Head Start a huge success

As part of our Unity project, Alabama Athletics delivered a variety of school supplies collected over the past few weeks to our community partner Alberta Head Start and donated more than $ 1,000 to purchase even more supplies. We continue to work hard to make a difference to a community that supports the Crimson Tide so much and to be effective citizens in the world around us.

Champions Club seats available for the 2021 season

Our new premium seating areas at Bryant Denny Stadium were unveiled at the home game against Texas A&M in Alabama. While our founder suites, skyboxes, box boxes and Terrace Club seats are sold out, some seats are still available in the Champions Club for the 2021 season. The Champions Club is located on the west side of the Bryant Denny Stadium and offers a side view. Guests enjoy a designated stadium admission, an all-inclusive buffet in the closed, air-conditioned club, and access to lockers for alcohol and a casting room.

Additional amenities include:

  • Covered outdoor seating in the stadium
  • Upholstered seat backs
  • Private toilets
  • Reserved parking space (location determined by priority points of the tide sums)

This video shows the premium sitting experience that you can enjoy in the Champions Club. Remember, you don’t need to be a current TIDE PRIDE member or season ticket holder to secure a seat in the Champions Club for the 2021 season. Contact the Crimson Tide Foundation at 205-348-9727 or email for information on how to secure your spots in the Champions Club.
